Providing Services to Seniors
throughout the Red River Valley.
Valley Senior Services has been providing services to the senior citizens of this area since 1971. Our services, which are designed to promote independence and better health for seniors, include home-delivered meals, community dining, transportation, outreach, recreational programming, and health screenings. In addition we publish a monthly newsletter, the Silver Quill, providing information on events and topics of interest to the senior community.
The Seniors We Serve
Our services are for persons 60 years and older and are funded by the Federal government under the Older Americans Act, the State of North Dakota, each of the counties we serve, the City of Fargo, Fargo Park District, area organizations and private and corporate donations. We invite you to participate in our program and welcome your questions or comments on our services.
We have been fortunate to receive partial funding and support for our services from the Fargo Park District, along with the City of Fargo, Cass County, Ransom County, Richland County, Sargent County, Steele County, Traill County, the State of North Dakota, federal government agencies, area organizations, corporate donations and private individual gifts.
All services offered through this program are available to seniors on a contributory basis. While no set fees are established, donations are accepted to help offset the cost of providing services. You may make a contribution by writing or calling:
